Hoteliers are now able to use existing technologies within their hotels, and deliver Covid-safe, contact-free check-in experiences, without changing any of their existing systems or processes. You simply plug UP2, and guests get either a sanitised key waiting for them on arrival, or delivery of a key to their mobile phone.

When asked to comment on the collaboration between the two technologies, Mr. Damianakis clarified that “UP2 was the naturally elegant route to take. By empowering hoteliers through UP2 we ensured our product can be extremely competitively priced and at the same time entirely complexity-free for the hotelier and their day to day operations.”

In a statement where he announced the solution, the CEO of Upgrade2 Mr. Vladimir Martinov, explained that “…this is what UP2 was always meant to be. A post-reservation platform designed to make everything easier. Hoteliers are now able to fully automate a process where they highlight their covid-safe approach to their guests, asking them to pre-check in directly on their device. We then take all the necessary registration information and hand it over to the hotelier (or their systems) enabling them to check in the guest before they arrive (like what airlines allow you to do through their apps). From there, depending on what the hotelier wants to do, either a mobile phone key can be issued, or simply the guest gets to pick up their sanitised key really quickly, virtually spending no time at reception.”
